After enrolling for UIDAI Aadhar it takes anywhere between 2-3 months before your Aadhar card is dispatched to your address. In the meantime you can check status of your Aadhaar card application using your 14-digit enrolment number and 14-digit date and time stamp on the Aadhar acknowledgement slip. In all you need to enter the 28 digits and captcha code shown.
Aadhaar card status can be tracked through https://portal.uidai.gov.in/ResidentPortal/statusLink or https://portal.uidai.gov.in/uidwebportal/enrolmentStatusShow.do
At times the website urls provided above do not work; it's a government agency site, if you forgot. If you face this issue try it on different browsers (chrome, firefox, IE etc) or try another day!
If the captcha text code is not working try it again after a while or try searching the link for Aadhaar card status through another browser.
Post verification of your enrollment details UIDAI sends printed Aadhaar card to your residential address through post. If your enquiry status shows 'delivered' but you have not got your Aadhar card yet, it could be on its way or you can check at the local Post Office in case you missed delivery.
